About The Position

We are looking for a passionate Resident Care Manager responsible for the supervision of the nursing team. This role oversees the operation of a nursing unit and the daily delivery of care to residents, keeping the Director of Nursing informed of progress and potential problems. The Resident Care Manager coordinates unit admissions, discharges, and transfers. This includes planning, developing, and organizing work tasks; supervising and evaluating employees; and coordinating the unit's services and activities in consultation with the Director of Nursing. The role also involves planning and supervising resident care, continually assessing residents' physical conditions, participating in resident planning conferences, monitoring quality indicators, ensuring positive outcomes, and actively participating in and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts. Participation in admission and discharge planning is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii required.
At least three (3) years' experience in a hospital or a long term care facility.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience preferred.
First Aid and CPR preferred. (can be done in-house).
