About The Position

We are hiring a Resident Care Manager (RN or LPN) to lead and support resident care delivery in a skilled nursing environment. In this role, you will be a visible leader on the floor—guiding teams, supporting staff development, and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for every resident. Whether you are an RN or LPN, you will be empowered to practice at the top of your license while contributing to a strong, collaborative care environment. Requirements

  • Current Montana RN or LPN license (or compact license with Montana eligibility)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience (long-term care preferred)
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, coach, and collaborate in a team environment
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, resident-centered care setting

Nice To Haves

  • Charge nurse or supervisory experience
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
  • Knowledge of MDS/RAI, PDPM, or Medicare billing systems
  • Familiarity with nursing information systems
  • BSN (RN candidates) or additional certifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations on your assigned unit/area with confidence and visibility
  • Serve as a clinical leader, coach, and resource for nursing staff
  • Partner with leadership on staffing, hiring, performance feedback, and team development
  • Support safe, effective staffing assignments based on resident needs and acuity
  • Coordinate resident care delivery in alignment with best practices and regulatory standards
  • Guide care planning, care conferences, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Oversee and support the MDS/RAI process and PDPM optimization (within licensure scope)
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety, and survey readiness initiatives
  • Help shape a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence in care
