About The Position
The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader for the community, overseeing health and wellness services while ensuring high-quality, compliant, resident-centered care. This role leads the nursing team, manages care programs and drives clinical excellence across the community.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage resident health, wellness and care coordination
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monitor outcomes
- Oversee medication management and ensure safe clinical practices
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy and care partners
- Drive Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and nursing regulations
- Serve as CLIA and Infection Control leader as applicable
- Recruit, hire, train and performance manage clinical team members
- Manage staffing, scheduling and department budget
- Partner with Sales to assess move-in appropriateness
