Requirements

• Previous experience as a Resident Care Coordinator is required.
• Computer experience is required.
• Proficiency using an electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) systems.
• Proficient in using Dropbox and other electronic software programs and documentation systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• You will bring computer literacy, savvy in social media, and proficiency in learning specified online programs.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will meet all health requirements as specified by state and federal regulations.
• You will be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
• You will be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will have the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working as a Care Partner and Medication Tech previously.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible with scheduling during the first 90 days of employment and be available to assist with vacation coverage and other operational needs as required.
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
• Must work scheduled shifts as a Medication Technician and/or Care Partner several times each week to remain familiar with residents, observe changes in condition, understand evolving care needs, maintain competency with medication administration processes, and provide direct support to the care team.
• Performing second checks of medication orders and primary care provider (PCP) orders as well as provider notices etc.
• Scheduling resident medical appointments.
• Completing quarterly resident evaluations and assessments.
• Conducting and documenting incident investigations.
• Maintaining medical charts appropriately and timely.
