About The Position

As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the Caregivers' schedule, onboarding new team members, assisting residents with medication administration, and providing care for all activities of daily living and personal hygiene. You will play a key role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and support, contributing to our mission of experiencing the joy of serving others and creating meaningful relationships. Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Successful completion of a Certified Medication Aide program in the State of employment.
Current CPR/First Aid certification (if applicable).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a memory care or assisted living community.

Responsibilities

Administer medication and provide basic nursing duties within the parameters of licensure.
Review residents’ care plans and provide all required activities of daily living for assigned residents.
Support residents during mealtimes.
Monitor and document residents’ inputs, outputs, vitals, weights, behavior, safety, and any other changes.
Transport residents to and from activities and/or appointments.
Attend in-services and training as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Develop and manage the schedule for the Caregivers, filling open shifts, managing overtime to be 2% or less per pay period, and ensuring no agency use.
Responsible for onboarding new team members.
Coordinate with Resident Care Director the selection and hiring of Care Team Supervisors and Caregivers.
Responsible for organization of medication cart/medication storage.
Conduct training as assigned and mandated by regulatory requirements.
