About The Position

As a Resident Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position includes staff scheduling, new hire training, supervision of caregivers and medication administration, as well as direct resident care when needed. You’ll serve as a key liaison between residents, staff, and external healthcare providers to help maintain a high standard of care and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Active ACMA certification required
Minimum of 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities

Create and maintain staff schedules
Handle covering all call offs to ensure the schedule is covered
Train and orient new employees
Supervise caregivers and monitor resident care delivery
Oversee and support medication administration and documentation processes
Review and document communication logs, MARs, new orders, and alert charting
Coordinate with outside agencies and medical providers regarding resident care
Maintain organization and cleanliness of medication storage areas
Participate in service plan reviews and update documentation as needed
Assist residents with meals, medication administration, and direct care
