Requirements

Certified Medical Technician (CMT) certification or equivalent, or extensive experience in care roles
Prior experience in assisted living, home health, or related healthcare settings
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work full-time evening and overnight shifts
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
Rotation of weekends required
Background screening as mandated by Florida law

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care and assistance to residents in assisted living or home health settings
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Follow all safety and health regulations, including infection control procedures
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
