Requirements

One year or more of experience as a CNA, Resident Care Assistant, or in a related caregiving role
A genuine passion for working with older adults
Excellent attendance and dependability
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Current Alabama CNA certification
CPR and First Aid certification

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Supporting residents with mobility and transfers according to individualized service plans
Escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the community
Serving meals in the dining room or resident apartments
Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical condition, eating habits, or behavior
Promoting a safe, comfortable, and caring environment
Providing services in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations
