About The Position

As a Resident Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by providing compassionate personal care, supporting daily activities, and offering essential assistance in our assisted living and memory care areas. Your dedication will help create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where residents feel valued, supported, and at home. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in a caregiver role.
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
