Resident Athletic Trainer - Track & Field and Cross Country

About The Position
The Resident Athletic Trainer serves as an athletic trainer for Virginia Tech’s Track & Field and Cross Country programs as part of the Virginia Tech Athletics Sports Medicine area. The position reports directly to the Associate AD / Sports Medicine. This is a part-time, non-exempt position eligible for overtime, with 29 hours per week and no benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with athletic training/sports medicine experience.
- National Athletic Trainers Association certification by hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree.
- Additional certification in CPR/First Aid.
- Clinical experience.
- Sports medicine experience in a Division I "Power 4" athletics program.
