About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in an assisted living community. Responsibilities include helping with activities of daily living, transporting residents within the community, responding promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards, and following resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. The position is PRN and pays $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and follow resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
