Resident Assistant-Med tech training opportunity
About The Position
Juniper Communities is hiring a Resident Assistant and offers training for resident associates to become medication technicians. Care aides provide physical support to help residents remain engaged, safe, and independent in a senior living setting. The posting lists a full-time 3 p.m.–11 p.m. shift and part-time or PRN opportunities on all shifts. Weekend availability is required. Overnight shifts receive a $1.00 shift differential. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with higher rates available for experienced caregivers. Juniper also offers DailyPay, which allows associates to access pay on demand.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Weekend availability is required.
Nice To Haves
- Medication Tech Certification.
- Experience as a caregiver; higher pay rates are available for experienced caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, arranging transportation, making and keeping appointments, using the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
