About The Position
Hayden Grove of St. Anthony is seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistants to join their community. This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living to residents in an assisted living and memory care setting, helping them maintain dignity and independence. Requirements
- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence
- Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
- Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
- Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
- Observe clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
- Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
- Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
