About The Position
Hayden Grove of St. Anthony is seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistants to join their community. Requirements
- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence.
- Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement.
- Effectively communicate with residents and families.
- Notify the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns.
- Assist in the dining room.
- Participate in activities and outings.
- Assist residents with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
- Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
- Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
- Observe clients and report changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
- Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
- Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
