About The Position

Lutheran Homes & Health Services is seeking a Resident Assistant (RA) to provide support and assistance to residents with their daily living activities and promote a safe and engaging environment. RAs help with tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and using the toilet, and also offer emotional support and companionship. RAs play a vital role in ensuring residents' well-being and independence. This role offers a clear pathway for advancement, including assistance in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
1 year of caregiving experience (preferred).
CBRF training (preferred, not required).
CPR Certification (preferred).
Covid Vaccine (preferred).
Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
Ability to relate well to all individuals.
Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
Ability to adapt to change.

Nice To Haves

Community-based residential facilities (CBRF) training preferred.
Caregiving: 1 year
CPR Certification
