About The Position
Windsor Gardens in Georgetown is seeking PRN Resident Assistants, CNAs, or caregivers to care for older adults with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The role supports residents’ daily needs, safety, well-being, socialization, and participation in activities. Employees must work two shifts per month to remain on the PRN list. Drug screening and background checks are required. Competitive pay is offered.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Encourage socialization among residents.
- Assist with the activity program and conduct activities as directed by the Activity Director or supervisor.
- Monitor residents’ health, safety, and well-being.
- Document residents’ functional status or condition in the appropriate flow sheet binder.
- Provide hands-on support and visual supervision to residents.
- Help maintain a safe environment for residents.
- Report changes or concerns regarding residents’ conditions to the Clinical Director and/or nurse on staff.
- Maintain accurate records of residents’ meal intake, output, and bathing.
- Do residents’ personal laundry.
- Attend and participate in monthly meetings.
- Read pertinent resident information in the staff communication log, daily progress notes, and flow sheets.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
