Full Time or Part Time Overnight Resident Assistant - Part Time (PCA/CNA) - No Mandating!
About The Position
Diamond Willow is seeking compassionate, dependable Resident Assistants to provide person-centered care to residents in an assisted living and memory care setting. Care is provided in a home-like environment that values residents as individuals and supports their dignity and well-being. Training and support are available for caregivers who are new to senior living. The role may be full-time or part-time, with flexible and block scheduling options. Overnight shifts include 10:30 PM–6:30 AM and rotating weekends. The position pays $17.50–$19.50 per hour, with compensation based on experience and including a shift differential. No mandated shifts are required beyond the employee’s schedule.
Requirements
- Must pass a DHS background study.
- Must be able to perform the listed care tasks while providing a supportive and dignified environment for residents.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old, except that applicants under 18 may be considered if they hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with toileting and bathing.
- Assist residents with dressing and grooming.
- Provide feeding assistance.
- Manage dementia-related behaviors.
- Assist with transfers and mobility, including the use of mechanical lifts.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Provide end-of-life care.
- Prepare meals.
- Support activities.
- Complete daily housekeeping and laundry.
