Full Time Evening Shift Resident Assistant (PCA/CNA)- NO MANDATING!
About The Position
Diamond Willow Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring a Resident Assistant to provide person-centered care in a home-like assisted living and memory care environment in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The role focuses on supporting residents’ dignity, comfort, and well-being through compassionate daily care and meaningful human connection. The position is offered full-time or part-time, with flexible and block scheduling options. The evening shift may run from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM and includes rotating weekends. No mandated shifts are required beyond the employee’s schedule. Compensation is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, with wages up to $19 per hour based on experience.
Requirements
- Must pass a DHS background study.
- Must be able to perform the listed care duties while providing a supportive and dignified environment for older adults.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old, except individuals under 18 may be considered if they hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.

- CNA certification; reimbursement for CNA certification is available while employed.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with toileting and bathing.
- Assist residents with dressing and grooming.
- Provide feeding assistance.
- Manage dementia-related behaviors.
- Assist with transfers and mobility, including use of mechanical lifts.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Provide end-of-life care.
- Prepare meals.
- Support activities.
- Perform daily housekeeping and laundry.
