About The Position

Spring Arbor of Anderson is looking for compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to join their team. The Resident Assistant provides hands-on care and support to residents while helping create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building meaningful relationships, helping others, and being part of a team that truly cares about its residents.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of related healthcare experience
• Successful completion of required dementia training, where applicable
• Positive criminal background screening
• Ability to comply with the Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or required based on state regulations
• CNA or Nursing Assistant certification preferred, depending on state requirements
• If licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the appropriate state licensing or certifying agency
• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate resident care under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD)
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing, grooming and toileting, incontinence care, transfers and mobility, positioning, changing bed linens, and medication reminders
• Follow resident service plans and accurately document all services provided
• Maintain proper records of resident care
• Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care
• Approach residents, families, guests, and associates with a friendly and service-oriented attitude
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents, associates, and visitors
• Support programming and daily operations within the neighborhood
• Perform additional duties as assigned
