About The Position
Heritage Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs and Resident Assistants to join our team. You'll provide personalized care and support while helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. CNA certification is desirable but not required. As a CNA/Resident Assistant, you'll get to know our residents and provide individualized support based on their needs and preferences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training
- Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment
- Compassionate, dependable, and genuinely enjoy helping others
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is desirable
- Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living
- Provide care according to each resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP)
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices
- Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms
- Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns
- Accurately document resident care and services
- Assist with medications when appropriately trained and delegated
- Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements
- Participate in required meetings and training
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable and homelike environment
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
