About The Position

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a part-time Resident Assistant to provide care and support to residents. The schedule is three days per week, including every other weekend. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, transporting residents within the community, responding to calls and requests, following resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
