About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in a memory care setting. Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, transporting them within the community, responding promptly and appropriately to emergencies, requests, and environmental hazards, and following resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. The position is scheduled PRN.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
