About The Position

This position is primarily focused on our assisted living residents. You will provide exceptional care, support, and pass medications to our residents all in a warm, family-like environment. No experience is necessary for this entry level position; we will provide all the training and support you need to be a successful and valuable member of our team. All team members receive training in assisted living and memory care, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and support residents throughout the community.

Requirements

• Sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly.
• Willingness to complete med pass training if no prior experience.
• Dependable, flexible team player with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must perform all required job tasks as trained and directed.
• Respect the confidentiality and personal privacy of residents.
• Pass a criminal investigation as solely determined by the State of Minnesota prior to starting work.

Nice To Haves

• Med Pass experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living.
• Passing medications and supervising resident self-administration.
• Encouraging resident independence and engagement.
• Performing housekeeping duties.
• Observing residents and reporting changes in physical and emotional condition.
