About The Position
Providence Life Services offers Independent Living in apartments and town homes, as well as Assisted Living, Memory Support, short-term post-acute Rehab services, and long-term Skilled Nursing Care in our senior communities in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Victorian Village, located in Homer Glen, our Continuing Care Senior Community is seeking a part time Resident Aide for our day shift. The hours for this position is from 6:30am-2:30pm which would include every other weekend.
Requirements
- Must be CPR certified or obtain one within 3 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a senior living community or long-term care is a plus.
- Compassionate and empathetic personality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
- Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
- Report and document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
- Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
- Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.
- Participates in life enriching activities for our residents.
