About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking experienced, professional Resident Aide and Med Techs to assist clients in the Spring Lake area for an independent living community. The role involves passing medications, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), interacting with residents and their families, monitoring the dining room, handling fast-paced situations, performing transfers as needed, and light housekeeping duties. Shifts are 12 hours, either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. Both full-time and part-time positions are available for all shifts.

Requirements

Recent experience/training in other Independent/Assisted Living Facilities and/or MORC Certified
High School Graduate or GED
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver’s License
Work in a team responsibly and independently
Good communication skills
Ability to travel within the service area
CPR Certified
Ability to pass a drug screen/clear background

Responsibilities

Passing medications
Assisting with ADLs (Showering, Dressing, Toileting etc)
Interacting with residents and their families
Monitoring in the dining room and interacting with residents at meal times
Handling fast paced situations
Transferring as needed
Light housework duty
