The Resident Services Support Specialist will be responsible for greeting clients, residents, and building visitors, and directing them to the appropriate areas. They will also be responsible for answering inquiries and providing information and updates to staff. They will interact with clients/residents over the course of the shift as appropriate and enforce the building and program rules. Additionally, they will check in outside visitors, answer and direct telephone calls to appropriate staff, and take messages as needed. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse population. The ideal Resident Advocate is passionate about CCC's mission and believes in treating every individual with dignity and respect. They understand the impact of trauma, homelessness, substance use, and systemic barriers on the people we serve. They are skilled at balancing accountability with compassion, maintaining safety while building trust, and supporting clients through challenging situations. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to fostering an inclusive environment where residents feel supported, valued, and empowered. Program: The Estate Hotel is a six-story, alcohol- and drug-free community located in Portland’s Old Town neighborhood. It houses several CCC programs and offers a mix of fair market-rate single-room occupancy and studio units, as well as program-based single-room occupancy units. The Fair Market units are rent-restricted but do not receive rent subsidies.
