About The Position

The Cuyahoga Valley Church (CVC) Residency is a two-year leadership development pathway designed to equip, empower, and send emerging leaders into gospel-centered ministry. Year 1 is an Internship focused on discovery and growth, offering real-world ministry experience across various departments and direct learning from experienced pastors and leaders. It also includes tuition-free theological training through a partnership with Emmaus Seminary. Year 2, the Residency, is for interns demonstrating exceptional growth and calling, involving deep immersion in one primary ministry area, greater leadership responsibility, and advanced coaching to prepare for lifelong ministry. The program aims to equip leaders for various ministry roles, including church planting or full-time ministry positions.

Responsibilities

Serve in multiple departments such as Kids, Youth, Young Adults, Groups, Counseling, and Worship during the internship year.
Develop spiritual disciplines and grow as a leader.
Discern God's calling for ministry.
Embed deeply within one primary area of ministry during the residency year.
Take on greater leadership responsibility during the residency year.
Receive advanced coaching to prepare for life-long ministry.
