About The Position

The goal of the residency is to fully equip every individual to be an effective minister of the Gospel, either in a traditional ministry setting or church-planting context. The program has four main objectives: Ministry Exposure, Personal Development, Professional Development, and Theological and Spiritual Development. Residents will gain practical experience in a local church, receive mentorship for personal and character development, learn professional skills such as church administration and public speaking, and be equipped with tools to understand and teach God's Word.

Responsibilities

• Gain opportunities to test and grow gifts in a local church setting.
• Participate in ministry in a substantial and meaningful way.
• Receive mentorship for personal and character development.
• Develop professional skills including church administration, public speaking, productivity, and leading staff teams.
• Learn tools to read, understand, and prepare to teach God's Word.
• Prepare to share and apply God's Word thoughtfully and faithfully.
