WIL is seeking a Residency Program Director to plan and launch a new accredited rural physician residency program. This is a contingent proposal opportunity in WIL’s expert collaborator network, not a funded vacancy. It supports a competitive grant application WIL is preparing; no award has been made, and there is no guaranteed work or funding. If an award proceeds and the staffing model calls for it, WIL may offer a project-based contract or consulting engagement. WIL will ask before naming the candidate or including their resume in any proposal. The collaborator will lead residency program planning, guide the accreditation application and sponsorship arrangements, work with rural hospitals, clinics, and academic sponsors, plan faculty and resident recruitment, and develop the program budget and long-term financing plan. The collaborator may also contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals, subject to authorization to be named. The opportunity is described as remote in the US.
