About The Position
The Brooklyn Hospital Center is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and mission-driven academic physician to lead a longstanding residency program within a vibrant urban academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, medical education, and community health. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced educator and leader to build on a solid foundation while shaping the program's next chapter. Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Medicine and working closely with the Designated Institutional Official (DIO), the Program Director will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the residency program. The successful candidate will build and lead a high-performing team, provide clear direction and guidance, and contribute to a multidisciplinary environment that values excellence, accountability, and innovation. You will foster a supportive learning environment where residents thrive, faculty are engaged, and scholarship, professionalism, and inclusion are embedded in the program's culture.
