About The Position

The Residency/Fellow Coordinator 2 coordinates and administers a single or multiple small to medium sized residency and fellowship program activities such as accreditation, recruitment and budgeting. Organizes and participates in accreditation site visits, ensures all required documentation has been completed and is available. Manages and oversees all aspects of program recruitment and selection or assists the Coordinator 3 or Program Director in managing small to medium sized program(s)' recruitment and selection. Reviews and evaluates applications. Conducts program training and ensures training manuals are compliant. Develops, maintains, and distributes the program scheduling. Manages or coordinates internal projects. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum two years of administrative experience required.
  • Knowledge of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards required.
  • Able to use a computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Able to be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, rules and laws.
