About The Position

We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join a progressive non-profit organization as a Residence Worker working in our Adult Staffed Living location in Revelstoke, BC. This is a temporary position for a one-year period with the possibility of becoming permanent.

  • Experience with Behavior Management
  • Personal Care experience
  • Medication Administration Certificate
  • Criminal Record Clearance
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Behaviour Management Training
  • MANDT Certificate
  • Clear Driver’s Abstract
  • Reliable Personal Vehicle
  • TB Clearance
  • Proof of Immunization

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and experience working with developmental, physical disabilities, mental health and behaviours
  • Ability to create a meaningful routine
  • Knowledgeable of creating independence vs. creating dependence
  • Following health care plans
  • Completing daily documentation
  • Implementing personal protocols, schedules, and activities
  • Knowledge and experience with community integration and teaching life skills
  • Meet the physical requirement of the role
