About The Position

Greystone Programs is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Residence Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of their group homes in Staatsburg, NY, serving adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). This role involves implementing core values to coordinate Direct Support Professional staff, ensuring all aspects of residents' lives are managed. The position requires creating, monitoring, and evaluating plans for resident growth and development, utilizing strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Relevant supervisory experience and demonstrated competence in independently leading/supervising staff will be considered as an alternative to a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in an OPWDD setting is preferred.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Flexible availability needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day oversight of a group home in Staatsburg, NY within the Residential Services program for adults with I/DD.
  • Coordinate the team of Direct Support Professional staff responsible for all aspects of a person’s life within an OPWDD certified group home.
  • Create, monitor, and evaluate meaningful plans that ensure each person has ample opportunities to grow and develop to their highest potential.
  • Mentor, teach, and guide staff.
  • Some on-call responsibility.
