The Residence Manager is responsible for the effective operation of their assigned Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA) home(s) or Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) unit(s) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Reporting to the Director of Residential Services, the Residence Manager oversees the day-to- day operations and direct care provided to individuals for their assigned homes/units in line with the applicable DOH, OPWDD, CARF and Jewish Board regulations and standards of care. They directly supervise Direct Service Professionals (DSPs), create and maintain schedules, ensure consistent and appropriate program coverage, and provide on-call and crisis support. Residence Managers are a critical member of the interdisciplinary team, working collaboratively with staff, colleagues, individuals, families and external providers to provide consistent and good quality care to individuals that supports their health, safety and individualized life goals and preferences.
