About The Position
The Arc Madison Cortland is seeking a Residence Manager to join their team and empower the individuals they serve. This role offers a new hiring rate of $25.18 per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $1,000. The position is in a residential setting with flexible hours as needed, including shift differentials for evenings and weekends. The Residence Manager supervises staff and residents, and oversees the operation of assigned sites. This includes participating in the development and ensuring compliance of Individual Service Plans, interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising direct care staff, and overseeing residents' finances, medications, and healthcare needs. The Arc of Madison Cortland's mission is to advocate for and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement. The residential program staff provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents, assisting with personal care, cleaning, cooking, medications, and activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid NYS driver's license with 12 months driving history

- Combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program.
Responsibilities
- Supervises staff and residents and oversees the operation of assigned sites
- Participates in the development and assures compliance of Individual Service Plans, including but not limited to Residential Habilitation Plans, the Level of Supervision Care and Monitoring Guides/Protective Oversight for Treatment Team approved as necessary or required.
- Interviews, hires, trains and supervises all approved direct care positions in compliance with all agency and departmental policies.
- Oversee residents' finances, medications and healthcare needs to assure compliance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
