About The Position

The Arc Madison Cortland is seeking a Residence Manager to join their team and empower the individuals they serve. This role involves supervising staff and residents, overseeing the operation of assigned sites, and ensuring compliance with Individual Service Plans. The Arc's Residence Program provides 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents, assisting with personal care needs, cleaning, cooking, medications, and activities. The mission of The Arc of Madison Cortland is to advocate and provide support and services to people with developmental and other disabilities, emphasizing choice and full community engagement.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Valid NYS driver's license with 12 months driving history

Bachelor's degree
Previous supervisory experience
Combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards of the program

Responsibilities

Supervises staff and residents and oversees the operation of assigned sites.
Participates in the development and assures compliance of Individual Service Plans, including but not limited to Residential Habilitation Plans, the Level of Supervision Care and Monitoring Guides/Protective Oversight for Treatment Team approved as necessary or required.
Interviews, hires, trains and supervises all approved direct care positions in compliance with all agency and departmental policies.
Oversee residents' finances, medications and healthcare needs to assure compliance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
