This role develops, presents, tracks and evaluates educational programs for students in designed residential communities. It manages the daily operation of undergraduate and/or graduate residential facilities. The coordinator serves as a conduct officer for the campus, adjudicating all levels of conduct cases including suspension and expulsion from the campus. They advise resident hall directors on proper adjudicating techniques and sanctions, and serve as the first point of contact for students' parents regarding housing situations. This position may coordinate Housing's involvement in campus life activities, serve on and chair committees to develop long range goals and strategic plans, and counsel students on mental health issues, referring them to mental health professionals. The coordinator also serves as a liaison between faculty, academic department leadership, and students. Additional duties may include coordinating renovation, repair and maintenance needs of designated residential facilities, teaching a resident assistant class, managing special projects, serving in the rotation of on-call staff for emergencies, representing Housing at admission preview days, acting as a liaison with the Admission office for student visits, and managing a programming budget.
