About The Position

This is a seasonal, temporary role supporting the university’s residence halls by delivering essential custodial services. The position plays a key role in preparing and maintaining living spaces for summer events and on-campus guests, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.

Requirements

Ability to work the assigned schedule, including required hours and days.
Ability to understand and follow instructions given in English.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Vacuum, dust, and clean assigned areas, including walls, mirrors, and windows.
Collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
Perform floor care as needed, including sweeping, scrubbing, stripping, and sealing surfaces.
Assist with setting up chairs, tables, and staging rooms and common areas for events and student housing needs.
Support general custodial duties to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments.
