West Chester University’s Division of Student Affairs invites applications for the position of Residence Hall Coordinator for Residence Life and Housing. This is a full-time temporary two-year appointment with the possibility to extend up to four years. It includes benefits and residential on-campus housing. The Residence Life and Housing team is committed to developing a caring, vibrant, student-centered residential experience to promote personal growth, foster meaningful relationships, support student success, and uphold standards that enhance the living experience. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Residence Education, the Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) promotes learning and development for as many as 5,400 students living in on-campus residence halls and apartments; maintains the daily operation for one residence facility; and supervises undergraduate student staff. The (RHC) is responsible for student and community development and engagement of a residence hall or apartment complex through programming, staff development, crisis management, leadership, education, and engagement.
