About The Position

The Residence Hall Administrative Specialist is responsible for working the front desk at one of the campus residential halls. The job duties include: maintaining student files, processing check in/out paperwork, coordinating room consolidation, conducting key inventory and distributing mail and packages. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least one year of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of prior experience in the secretarial field
  • Proficient level of competency and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, StarRez and HogSync
  • At least one year experience working in a young adult environment
