About The Position

This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and requires the candidate to be a U.S. Marine Corps Officer. The role involves teaching ROTC at Desert Pines High School. Applicants must upload a military approval letter (instructor certification) and possess or be able to acquire a teaching license from the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) in the relevant subject area. A valid driver's license or state-issued identification card is also required. All required documents must be attached at the time of application, and the application must include a complete seven-year work history.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Marine Corps Officer
• Military approval letter (instructor certification) MUST be uploaded
• An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess or be able to acquire by time of appointment to the position, a teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education (NDE).
• Must be certified in relevant subject area.
• A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
• Complete the entire seven (7) year work history in the “Experience and Credentials” section of your application, including periods of unemployment, schooling and volunteer work.
