About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Reservations Agent for Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five-Star resort located in Chatham, Massachusetts. This role involves handling all incoming reservations calls with efficiency and professionalism, making reservations, cancellations, and answering questions about rates, hotel facilities, services, and special promotions. The Reservations Agent will be responsible for answering telephone calls, greeting potential guests in a friendly manner, providing accurate property information, and maintaining strong organizational and computer skills. The position also requires assisting the Reservations Manager as needed.

Requirements

Reservations experience, hotel/resort preferred
Experience in sales preferred
Superior customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail and organization
Excellent computer skills
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Flexibility with regards to weekly schedules is necessary
Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Handling all incoming reservations calls with efficiency and professionalism
Making reservations and cancellations
Answering questions on rates, hotel facilities, services, and special promotions
Answering telephone calls and greeting potential guests in a friendly manner
Providing accurate property information regarding room rates, room types, and availability
Maintaining strong organizational and computer skills
Assisting Reservations Manager as needed
