About The Position

The Reservations Agent books guest reservations and maintains the department’s required standards for customer service, productivity, efficiency, and profitability. The role involves providing a friendly, professional experience to guests and team members in keeping with the company’s Spirit of Service culture. The position is based at Historic Powhatan Resort, a Hilton Vacation Club in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to learn and accurately perform essential job functions, prioritize duties in a high-volume call-center environment, and work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
• Demonstrated excellence in service quality standards that affect team member and guest satisfaction, including timely, professional responses and a courteous, professional manner with upset guests and in difficult situations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Prior hospitality and phone sales experience.
• Computer experience.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of VOICE and REZLINK systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls cordially and professionally according to departmental guidelines, book guest reservations, and explain services available at the properties.
• Mail reservation confirmations and information to guests.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and documentation.
• Research questions related to guest disputes.
• Handle questions about and postings for Maintenance Fees.
• Help promote rental revenue and process advance deposits.
• Coordinate with front desk team members to keep reservation procedures consistent with check-in procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Front Office Management.
