About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a team-oriented, results-focused Reservation Agent who provides outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, the role supports customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation placement and equipment distribution. The position also helps manage reservation and equipment availability to balance regional inventory with customer demand, and assists with U-Haul’s U-Box portable storage product. The role is based at 4101 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75093. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that it will not hire or re-hire nicotine-product users in Texas and certain other listed states.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of office equipment, including multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
Proficiency in customer service, time management, and multitasking.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
In Texas, applicants who use nicotine products are not eligible for hire or re-hire.

Responsibilities

Assist with calls from and to customers.
Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement.
Direct incoming customer equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional inventory and meet future demand.
Review reports used to support effective equipment placement, customer reservations, and contracts, and to help maintain equipment availability and accuracy.
Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.
