About The Position

Position Summary Pollstar, “The Voice of Live”, is looking for a Researcher to join our research team to solicit, collect, process and analyze Event, Contact and Box office data in the live entertainment space. This role pays an hourly rate of $17.50 to $20.00 Benefits for FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). This position will remain open until June 19, 2026.

Requirements

Experience in and a strong working knowledge of the concert business.
Experience with data entry including self-proofing and interpretation of data.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced aptitude with Excel or other data tools.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
The ability to work on deadline with accuracy.

Responsibilities

Research new and existing events and realtionships in live entertatinment.
Maintain, update and preserve the integrity of our database.
Reconciliation of conflicts in the database.
Identification and removal of duplicate records.
Data entry for contact updates and routebook data received via email.
Customer service for Pollstar Reporters.
Proofing charts and features for weekly publication.
Work closely with Department Heads on all tasks related to Pollstar Directory, Boxoffice and Routebook production.
Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
