About The Position

NERA Economic Consulting is seeking an experienced Researcher to join the Antitrust-Healthcare business line in their San Francisco, Chicago, or New York City office. NERA provides economic analysis and expert testimony for legal and regulatory matters, focusing on market dynamics, competition policy, and antitrust litigation. The role involves designing quantitative models, applying econometric analysis, conducting valuation analyses, summarizing industry trends, creating presentation materials, writing code for data analysis, participating in client meetings, and drafting memos and expert reports. The San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago offices have a significant focus on healthcare antitrust analysis. Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience
• Minimum of a BA or BS in economics, statistics, mathematics or related field
• Exceptional analytic skills
• Strong programming skills (Python, R, SAS, Stata)
• Strong academic records
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to write in a clear and persuasive manner

Nice To Haves

• Coursework and/or experience in economics, statistics, and regression analysis/econometrics
