About The Position

This position involves experimental design, method optimization, resource management, and technology development within the field of Medical Oncology. The role requires collaboration with the Principal Investigator (PI) to design experiments, optimize assays, and advise on data analysis. The individual will also be responsible for managing laboratory resources, ensuring safety guidelines are met, and maintaining reporting and billing systems. Furthermore, the position entails staying updated on emerging immune monitoring technologies and evaluating new platforms and methods to enhance capabilities.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience required; 5 years of relevant experience required with Bachelor's Degree, or 3 years of relevant experience required with Master's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the PI to design experiments and optimize assays.
  • Advise investigators regarding experimental design and data analysis approaches.
  • Develop analysis strategies and present new assays and technologies to research groups.
  • Assess inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Manage operations within laboratory safety guidelines for instrument operation as well as chemical and biological safety standards.
  • Maintain reporting and billing systems, assist with cost recovery processes, and contribute to budgeting and operational planning.
  • Maintain technical expertise in emerging immune monitoring technologies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and deploy new platforms, reagents, and analytical methods that enhance the platform’s capabilities and support investigator needs.
