This temporary position works under the general supervision of a Principal Investigator and in accordance with established protocols. The role involves data collection and coding, preparation of data for computer input, documentation of system changes, and preparation of written reports. Additionally, the position performs basic research experiments, assists with data analysis using basic statistical methods, conducts literature searches, and helps maintain a clean and orderly lab environment. This role does not involve direct patient care.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program 0-1 year required
Basic Computer literacy.
Attention to Detail.
Good Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Good Customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Math, statistics, or programming background of coursework 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities

Collects and codes data.
Transfers collected data to code sheets.
Prepares data for keypunching / computer input.
Documents system changes, informing supervisor of conflicts between coding methods and protocol.
Prepares written reports on data, as appropriate.
Performs basic research experiments.
Assists with analysis of experimental data using basic statistical methods.
Performs literature searches.
Assists with maintenance of a clean and orderly lab.
