About The Position

Will work with research team to administer questionnaires to study participants, collect samples, schedule study appointments, follow up with participants by phone, place recruitment materials and other tasked related to clinical trial of investigational tobacco products (ITP). Local travel using a mobile laboratory may occasionally be required as part of this position. Valid driver's license required. Supports clinical and scientific research throughout the organization; assists with or conducts experiments and procedures under the direction of a supervisor; presents findings including preliminary interpretation for further review; inputs clinical and research information into the designated database system; conducts routine maintenance of equipment and machinery as needed. The salary range for this position is $52,979- $67,185 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline; or Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or scientific discipline and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with human laboratory research or clinical trials.
  • Familiarity with data collection software and reporting systems used in clinical trials, including REDCap, Advara, or Vestigo.
  • Knowledge of Institutional Review Board (IRB) and FDA guidelines for clinical trials.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • A valid driver's license.
