About The Position

This is a one-year limited tenure position that may have the possibility of extension or turning into a regular position. The role involves setting up and performing routine and established lab procedures to support lab goals and grant commitments, such as assays, cell/tissue culture, and animal studies. The technologist will monitor results, report unusual outcomes, and suggest modifications. Duties include collecting, entering, and summarizing data, assisting in the maintenance of lab equipment and supplies, and performing basic statistical data analysis. The position also involves preparing tables, charts, and graphs, and assisting in organizing data. The individual will present at research laboratory meetings and contribute to writing manuscripts. Work is performed under supervision, with the possibility of performing some assignments independently as discussed and approved by the Principal Investigator. Additional duties include conducting experiments in epigenetics and performing mouse-based studies.

Must not require sponsorship for employment.
Not eligible for F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with mice is preferred.
Experience in epigenetics and molecular biology is preferred.

Responsibilities
